Position Summary

OPEX Corporation is currently looking for an Account Executive to join our team with sales region of Missouri, S. Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The most desirable location to reside would be the greater St. Louis area or the greater Kansas City area. The Account Executive serves as a Sales Executive for new and existing accounts. The Account Executive facilitates all aspects of the sales process including but not limited to:

  • Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly

  • Identifies new sales opportunities with new and existing customers

  • Qualifies sales opportunities through market / customer research and understanding the client’s needs

  • Communicates value proposition to customers, proposes sales solutions to customers and reevaluates solutions where necessary

  • Closes sales opportunities by securing purchase orders or signed proposals

  • Provides outstanding customer service and post sales satisfaction facilitating long term relationships for repeat business with customers


  • 3 plus years of successful Outside B2B Sales experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Prospecting, hunter mentality, and aggressive self-motivated individual

  • Industry experience: Document Imaging and/or Document Management space desirable

  • Sales or Operations experience is required

  • Tech savvy and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software strongly preferred

  • Consultative selling skills– ability to assess client needs and create solution

  • Average of 10 overnights within territory per month

  • Strong planning, organization, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Good driving record – within last 5 years
