Worksters seeks a General Clerk III who will be assigned to the GSA Design and Construction Division located in San Francisco, CA.
The General Services Administration, has a requirement for Administrative support clerical services; the labor to be provided will be working primarily with GSA inhouse staff. The General Clerk III should possess a strong organization and time management skills. The General Clerk III will work primarily with the Design and Construction administrative staff and director/deputy director to ensure the support services are being provided.
- Perform various clerical duties such as the following:
a. Receive, open, sort and distribute both incoming and outgoing mail. Maintain appropriate
records and/or logs for tracking and reconciliation purposes.
b. Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to government
c. Manage agendas, travel arrangements, appointments and such, for upper management.
d. Manage phone calls and other correspondence (email, letters, packages).
e. Screen documents, forms, and letters addressed or routed to various offices.
f. Perform administrative duties in support of Design & Construction.
g. Maintain contract files for project personnel. Maintain archived records and files, provide
electronic data entry as required.
The General Clerk III shall have a minimum of 6 months of relevant clerical and office management experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (HSPD-12)
High school diploma or GED
POSITION TYPE: Full time work shall be performed forty (40) hours per week during normal business hours primarily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
