Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Case Manager, the Case Manager will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring services to meet the needs of homeless Veterans and their families. The Case Manager will work closely with all SSVF staff to coordinate referrals and identify available to services.

We are looking for someone who has a strong passion for assisting the homeless and Veteran population in San Diego County and has exceptional knowledge of community resources that are available. The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated, customer-oriented case manager who is eager to build rapport and guide the Veterans to appropriate resources while being professional, courteous, and responsible.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in social services or related discipline.

Must have Rapid Re-Housing and/or homeless housing experience.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in case management or equivalent position with experience working with veterans and/or other homeless populations preferred.

Ability to pass all pre-hiring qualifications (TB test, health screening, fingerprints, and criminal investigation screening)

Has working knowledge of community resources in San Diego and VA and other mainstream resources.
