CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (CNA): Instructing students following curriculum approved by
the Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technicians of the State of
California, including preparing and submitting lesson plans, assigning and
correcting homework, administering tests, counseling students, a maintaining an
effective relationship with contracted hospitals and facilities.
Requirements: Current CA active license as a Vocational Nurse with one (1) year of recent experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility. Minimum of one (1) year experience planning implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing, or two years of full-time experience as a licensed nurse. Minimum of 24 hours of continuing education courses approved by the Board of Registered Nurses in planning, implementing and educational programs in nursing. Must be able to work a varied schedule. Maintenance of a valid CA Driver’s License and proof of a driving record acceptable to the Center and its insurance carrier.
