Job Description

Immediate projects available in the Midwest.  Fast growing small business seeking Level II, Level III, Level IV DC power service technicians.  Current projects include 12-volt battery replacement and power plant upgrades with an established customer. Upcoming plans include 5G and small cell installations.

Job Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 1-4 years of industry experience
· Ability to work at various heights
· Ability to lift 150 pounds repetitively
· Must pass a physical exam, background check, and drug test.

· Performs additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits
· DC Power Plant installations
· Secondary DC Power additions, removals and replacements
· BDFB/BDCBB Additions
· VLA (Flooded) and VRLA Battery additions, removals and replacements
· Adheres to the installation methods and standards per Telcordia GR-1275-CORE and/or customer’s installation standards
· Testing: Equipment testing and turn-up; Lead verification and continuity testing
· Tools: Basic hand tools required. Demonstrates proper operation of basic tools and test equipment
· Organizes and restocks trucks with all equipment, materials, consumables necessary to perform job functions
· Safety: Conforms to all safety standards and proactively stays up to date on safety training, compliance, and knowledge of HAZMAT and DOT requirements as required by customers.
· OSHA construction certification as required by customer, as well as AED, CPR, BBP, and First Aid training
· Proof of current contractor liability insurance and workers compensation insurance required
· Continually trains and develops to advance to next levels of Installation and Field Technician
· Basic Level 4 skills to include, in part:
o Analysis of job specifications, drawings, and documentation
o Be proficient in preparing General, Detailed, and Combined Method of Procedure's (MOP's)
o Be proficient in preparing a Job Information Memorandum (JIM)
o Resolve job specification and/or drawing problems without assistance
o Mark and correct office record drawings
o Be able to perform in-process and final quality inspections
o Has capability of being job-site manager
