Job Description
Are you detail oriented, organized, and looking to make a daily impact at a disruptive startup? HackerOne is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager that is passionate about both the practical and creative elements of facilities and events management to join our team. At HackerOne everyone takes a part in building and maintaining our company culture and this role will play a big part in it! This role leads a distributed team and will drive the strategy for our facilities organization.
The facilities manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, buildings and other facilities. This position will plan multiple office moves, manage leases/subleases, and continuously promote positive facility upgrades. A successful candidate will be comfortable managing build out projects with various contractors, rolling out new safety policies to the entire company and managing numerous administrative tasks in a dynamic environment.
The facilities manager will sit in our San Francisco, CA office and will also act as the Facilities Security Officer for our San Francisco facility so would need to currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret U.S. Government clearance.
-Manage and grow existing office management team
-Oversee commercial leases and subleases, multiple coworking space offices, and temporary housing leases for properties used by traveling employees in multiple countries
-In partnership with Human Resources, assist with the management and coordination of HackerOne internal company events including annual all hands and quarterly employee-based events
-Partners with the Security and Compliance team to oversee facilities clearance for current and future U.S. Government contracts
-Spearhead office searches and moves quickly and efficiently, including relocation of corporate headquarters
-Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion
-Manage all leases and subleases for both commercial and temporary housing properties
-Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications
-Maintain facilities clearance and Insider Threat Program in accordance with NISPOM requirements
-Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of facility
-Develop and administer the annual facilities’ and event budget
Job Requirements
-U.S. Citizenship Required
-Currently hold or able to obtain a Secret DoD U.S. Government clearance
-Experience working with coworking spaces
-Experience managing commercial office build-outs
-Experience managing a distributed team
-Facilities experience in a dynamic startup environment
-Lease and sublease experience
-Ability to work with brokers and manage third party vendors
-Project management related experience
-Strong teamwork skills
-Working knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Self-motivated and proactive problem solver
-International real estate experience preferred
-Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management

Nice to haves:
-Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) a plus
-Well versed in the NISPOM and Government security requirements
-Experience implementing and maintaining an Insider Threat Program
-Experience with JPAS and e-Qip
