The Information Management Analyst position will focus on ensuring that the OPEX group of companies complies with information security, cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity guidelines and requirements. The Information Manager will achieve this by working with relevant members of OPEX’s senior management, OPEX’s Engineering, Information Technology, Legal & Corporate Affairs departments, and others; developing, maintaining, and managing applicable internal policies, procedures, and standards; researching and understanding pertinent regulatory requirements; coordinating, and as appropriate, carrying out, intrusion tests and other tests, risk assessments, and audits; completing applicable agency filings; responding to internal and external inquiries; and developing and delivering internal training programs, among other things.
Help develop, manage, and maintain OPEX’s internal policies, procedures, and standards governing information security, cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity/disaster recovery;
Develop a strong technical understanding of OPEXinformation security, cybersecurity, and data privacy initiatives;
Help ensure that OPEX complies with applicable regulatory mandates;
Provide guidance to minimize risks to OPEX’s information technology, data assets, and business continuity (e.g., by ensuring that proper procedural and technical controls are in place, etc.);
Coordinate, and as appropriate, carry out, network intrusion and penetration testing, and other similar tests, risk assessments, and audits;
Help remediate information security- and cybersecurity-related issues;
Respond to applicable internal and external inquiries (e.g., regulatory agency inquiries, customer questionnaires, RFP questions, employee inquiries, etc.);
Prepare and submit applicable data protection filings and other agency filings;
Support OPEX’s record retention/destruction program covering both hard- and records;
Assist in developing and delivering training to OPEX employees covering information security, cybersecurity, data privacy, and record retention/destruction;
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or an.
Experience in information management, information security, cybersecurity, and data protection.
A motivated self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational ability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate. security issues to both a technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the company.
Experience with infrastructure and application security controls.
Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes is a plus.
The employee will primarily be working in an office environment with occasional travel to manufacturing, warehouse, and customer sites for observation/research.
Sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
Some walking driving between local facilities may be required.
