Job Description

AQuate II has openings for Marine Security Officers (MSO) to join our team on our Security Service Contract aboard the SBX-1 berthed out of Ford Island, Hawaii. These are rotational/part-time positions, working approximately 70 days on/70 days off, 40 hours/week. Pay is at a very competitive daily rate. All travel, uniform, equipment, berthing and food are provided.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Access control
  • Monitoring of electronic security systems
  • Conduct active patrolling
  • Respond to threats
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements (Must haves, no exceptions due to contract requirements):

  • US Citizen. Be able to read, write speak, and understand English
  • Current/Active Secret clearance
  • Valid US Passport
  • Be able to pass random drug screenings, a background check and obtain a Common Access Card
  • Proof of completion of a small arms and crew served weapons training course or qualification taught by or used by any DoD Service component for the following weapons: M9, M4, M500, M240 and M2 (Note: training/qualification received on DoS or any other non-DoD related contract will not be accepted)
  • Proof of completion of an armed sentry and security reaction force training course taught by or used by any DoD Service component
  • Physically fit and projects a good character while in uniform

Highly Desired:

  • U.S. Navy qualified CSWIs
  • SAMIs
  • Experience operating an Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS)
  • Experience as a Security Console Operator and Entry Control Point operator
