Description/Job Summary

To be responsible for managing revenue, costs, sponsorship budgets, and personnel decisions within the assigned region while coaching and mentoring team members on strategies

Responsibilities/Duties

•Achieve superior sales and market share growth through relationship building, product education, clinician pull, business strategy development, and support for Quantum and Pride Providers and Rehab Facilities within an assigned geographical area and account base

•Responsible for the Quantum Rehab Product Specialist (RPS) duties within the Regional Manager’s territory

•Strategic travel/call rotation with Quantum providers and Rehab Facilities on a consistent basis in Regional Manager’s territory as well as the entire region covered including creation of strong relationships, business meetings, contract reviews, CEU courses, education, training, GP analysis, intel and feedback

•Accountable for generating revenue resulting in sales growth within assigned territory and region, and holding team members responsible for respective territories

•Relationship management which includes business meetings, product education, and demo facilitation for Quantum providers and Rehab Facilities

•Ensure all RPS’s within the sales region maximize use of the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system including regular and consistent entries and updates for all providers, facilities, and VA’s

•Work closely with the Quantum Leadership team on continuing to develop strong relationships and creative growth strategies with ALS, MDA, and other Disability Associations within the region

•Develop and maintain strong knowledge and presentation skills on all Quantum related product lines

•Build strong relationships with Regional and National Accounts along with therapists and decision makers at the VA and Top Rehab Facilities

•Develop strong relationships with Pride Corporate Management as well as Pride Retail Mobility Sales Representative within the region to ensure strong communication and lead generation across brands and mutual customers

•Work as a part of the Clinical Education Team to carry out corporate objectives regionally, while working as a team to accomplish the corporate goals for clinical development with sales teams and industry education for the Quantum division

•Create and present buying agreements and sales programs to ensure sales goals while ensuring proper company net gross profit margin guidelines are followed

•Effectively manage samples throughout the region to ensure placement, Return on Investment (ROI), and proper rotation

•Staff management including documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, and appropriately addressing individual or group performance issues

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

•Assign, train, and develop staff based on experience and departmental goals
•Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Develop a "Strong 2nd" for your area of responsibility
•Work effectively with all Quantum and Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Conduct product in-services and conduct an executive level business meeting
•Create and deliver a presentation in both a clinical and business environment
•Travel an average of 2-3 weeks out of the month as business needs dictate
•Travel overnight, drive extensively, and fulfill after-hours requirements as business needs dictate
•Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs

Must have:

•Excellent working knowledge of seating, positioning and equipment considerations for the “common” diagnosis in the rehab community as it applies to Pride/Quantum products
•Intermediate knowledge and understanding of clinical diagnosis terminology
•Strong knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry and equipment

Preferred Skills

•Advanced knowledge of the clinician’s role in equipment considerations, and the decision-making process in Rehab Facility systems preferred

•Familiarity with complex rehab patients, conditions and required fittings knowledge preferred

•Working knowledge of Pride’s operating systems preferred

Required Experience

•At least 5 years of experience with a successful track record as a Quantum RPS OR at least 7 years of clinical rehab experience with seating & mobility

Preferred Experience

•At least 2 years of business-to-business field sales experience in a Rehabilitation and/or Clinical setting preferred

•At least 5 years of experience in sales management and strategies preferred

•At least 2 years of experience managing Field Sales Representatives in a business-to-business sales environment preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

Required Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in an industry related field, OR an Associate’s Degree in an industry related field with at least 6 years of the required experience, OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 12 years of the required experience

Preferred Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy preferred, but will consider a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

•Assistive Technology Provider (ATP) Certification preferred
