Job Summary:

Azimuth is actively looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to manage and support the recruiting efforts of the Azimuth corporate

Dayton and DC offices.


Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute Position Description/Requisitions for all areas seeking talent with input from program management, BD, or contract documentation, etc.

• Create and manage job postings on Azimuth’s website utilizing the designated electronic tracking system, as well as other sites as needed

• Develop, manage, and maintain resume pool for personnel, candidates (both incoming and sourced/desired for retention by business development department)

• Conduct resume analysis from applicants or sourced candidates, making recommendations to program managers, business development and supervisors

• Conduct pre-screening as dictated by resume analysis or direction by client; report pre-screening results to client

• Conduct in-person or remote collaborative interviews with potential candidates based upon outcome of pre-screening and client request, including the coordinated participation of supervisors, co-workers, and/or government customer, including coordination of appointments for participants, confirmations and follow-up to gain additional perspectives, POVs and opinions

• Maintain detailed daily spreadsheets of open positions and upcoming events, reporting them to the client base, supervision, and management each afternoon

• Maintain detailed spreadsheets and records of positions and candidates in ‘queue’

• Create and maintain form paperwork appropriate for tracked and recorded job postings, advertising, hiring processes; routinely coordinate the paperwork through the workflow cycle through completion or archive

• Utilize above paperwork to its full effectiveness and efficiency with others in the human resources department, and other departments as needed, in order to facilitate a smooth hiring process

• Assist Human Resources Director with monthly assimilation of affirmative action data from all applicant sources in Excel spreadsheets workbook

• Assist Human Resources Director with efforts related to employee engagement and satisfaction (e.g., surveys and results, polling)

• Work with third-party vendor in the search, design, proofing and ordering of all Azimuth corporate ‘swag’, recruiting or hiring event supplies (marketing or office), and other necessary items, gaining approval from HR Director, may seek assistance from Office Manager

• Create and manage as-needed societal memberships/relationships (e.g., APS (American Physics Society)) in order to facilitate job sourcing for talent

• Attend daily activity meeting, weekly Business Development meeting to be held at the discretion of the Business Development Department, and weekly Human Resource Department team meeting, as coordinated by the HR Director

• Host weekly Recruitment Update and Prioritization with requested attendance from all supervisors or program managers with open positions and the HR Director

• Coordinate and manage the attendance of no less than four (4) job fair / hiring events within the fiscal year, ensuring enough hiring events are being attended within the geographical area(s) needed, ensuring efficient and effective utility of each event before it is repeated / manage ROI; travel may be required

• Submit travel expense reports and all receipts, purchase requests or invoicing to the HR Director timely for approval and forwarding to the Accounting and Finance Department

• Recognizing the internal customer, prepare ad-hoc reports, prepare analysis of information, and conduct data mining of information on an as-needed/as-requested basis by other departments or co-workers

• Complete all government and/or Azimuth-required training or certifications

• Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements
Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Naturally self-driven and proactive

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creating positive Corporate image and maintain composure and poise

• Microsoft Office applications minimum intermediate proficiency

• Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliance

• Excellent organization skills

• Maintain highest degree of confidentiality regarding any PII or other corporate private/proprietary information to which the position may be exposed



Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting the recruiting efforts of a remote-located facility/office and client base

• Basic knowledge of government contracting industry and terminology

• Basic knowledge of government clearances, clearance processing requirements, acquisitions, intelligence, and other areas of customer business base
