Job Description
Galileo Processing is the technology leader for payment processing including credit, debit and prepaid card programs. We specialize in developing innovative technology for card programs and financial services and offering world-class customer service.
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
• Vast experience in network and security architecture
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, Nexus switches, ASA firewalls, and VPNs
• f5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM configuration
• Experience installing and managing NIPS/HIPS
• Configuration of network monitoring tools for alerting and reporting
• Allocation of IP addresses for hosts and subnets
• Ordering and coordinating the installation of new data circuits
• Perform periodic documentation tasks relating to SOC1 and PCI compliance
• Diagnose and resolve network outages
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of all network infrastructure equipment
• Maintain service contracts on all network infrastructure equipment
• Manage internal and external DNS and domain registration
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
• 5+ years experience in Network Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or demonstrated equivalent experience
• CCIE or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of networking / distributed computing environment concepts: including
   principals of routing, network design, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols
• Networking (LAN) and TCP / IP knowledge
• Strong professional, interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills and ability to work
   well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills evidenced by ability to quickly set, adapt and adjust priorities
• Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills and the ability to maintain cooperative
   working relationships
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed
• Proven analytical and problems solving abilities
• Works outside of normal business hours with little notice or supervision
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
